Wheeler Peak Progressives (WPP), in partnership with Angel Fire Garden Club, the Moreno Valley Trekkers and the Angel Fire Chamber of Commerce, are hosting an Earth Day event in Angel Fire,10 a.m. – 1 p.m. Saturday (April 21) — rain or shine.

Moreno Valley neighbors are welcome to bring clean and dry glass and Type 1 and 2 plastics to the front of the Angel Fire Chamber of Commerce, 3407 Mountain View Blvd for recycling.

As well, the community partners are planning a wetlands clean up that includes part of the trail system (Sendero del Sol) which extends from the Visitor’s Center to behind the Fire Station. Long poles or walking sticks might be necessary to get some of the trash out. Bring the family or a friend. Leashed dogs welcome.
