Angel Fire Police responded to a report of a disturbance at Angel Skye Apartments. Officer learned that a male victim was reportedly battered by 4-5 unknown individuals. A report was taken. Investigation continues.

Angel Fire Police Department received a report of loose running cattle in The Valley of the Utes area. Approximately 40 head of cattle are loose in the area. Attempts to identify the owner is now underway.

Subject came into the Angel Fire Police Department for a driving test. Subject successfully passed the driving test.

Angel Fire Police Department was requested to provide a ride to two female subject involved in an accident on Highway 64. Ride was provided to a location in Angel Fire.

Angel Fire Police Department received a report of a highly intoxicated subject acting disorderly in public. The subject was found to be very intoxicated and combative. There will be criminal charges filed and police report will be written.

Subject came into the Angel Fire Police Department to report fraud and stated that two fraudulent bank accounts were opened in his name. Subject stated he was not out any money but wanted to make a report.

Angel Fire Police Department received a report of a suspicious person near a local business. The person was located and was checked for warrants. The subject was clear and due to no criminal offense committed, the subject was given a ride to the county line.

Observed vehicle 2003 gray Ford Mustang disabled in bar ditch. Contact made with registered owner who requested a wrecker. Contacted Red River Dispatch for owner’s request tow. RRD advised AC Towing out of Taos would respond and contact the registered owner.

Responded to residential burglary alarm. Exterior check of residence conducted. Everything appeared to be secure.  No signs of attempted forced entry or glass break.

Angel Fire Police Department received a report of disturbance between a male and a female. Once the disturbance was located, it was determined that an offense had occurred. A police report will be written as the male subject was arrested for DOMESTIC VIOLENCE.

Angel Fire Police received a commercial firework from a local citizen. While speaking with a local citizen he showed the officer a commercial firework and voluntarily turned over the firework out of concern for safety.

Officer was flagged down by a citizen in reference to finger printing for a concealed carry permit. Subject was advised to contact the police department admin assistant at the Ange Fire Police Department during normal business hours to schedule an appointment to have finger printing done.

Officer was dispatched to a speak to officer in reference to lost or stolen property.  Reporting party, believed her ex may have possibly taken her spare vehicle key. RP advised her spare key to her vehicle was missing.  RP was unsure if the key was lost or stolen.  RP believed her ex-husband may have taken it but believed he had not.  A check with the ex-husband for the key met with negative results.

Officer was dispatched to an individual in reference to a harassment. RP advised his ex-wife contacted him in violation of a court order. Further investigation revealed ex-wife was the petitioner on the TRO and RP was the respondent.  RP was explained NM law states a petitioner on a TRO cannot be charged with violating their own order. RP was advised the procedure and proper court to obtain a counter TRO. RP advised he was in the process of obtaining an order
