Angel Fire Police responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle. Officer conducted a traffic stop on the suspicious vehicle and determined the vehicle had permission to be located where they were.

Angel Fire Police was notified of harassment of an individual. RP wished to have documented repeated contact from his ex-girlfriend and believed it was in violation of an Order of Protection. A review of the Order determined no offense was committed.

Angel Fire Police responded to a report of cannabis turned into the lost and found. RP stated that a customer turned in a pouch containing cannabis products they found in a shopping cart. Items were taken and transported to the Police Station for proper disposal.

Angel Fire Police responded to a residential alarm at a residence on Meadowbrook Terrace. Upon arrival residence was found to be secure. No signs of criminal activity.

Angel Fire Police Department received a complaint of possible trespass that occurred in June. A report was taken and an investigation begun.

Angel Fire Police Department responded to a reported disturbance at a business located in the 3300 block of Mountain View Blvd. Upon arrival it was learned that a customer had become upset over the price of a product and started an argument with staff. Management requested incident be documented but no charges filed. Customer was warned about his behavior.

The Angel Fire Police Department received a report of suspicious activity at a local residence. A juvenile male had walked across the property which was captured by video surveillance. The juvenile male and family are here on vacation staying at the property immediately to the west. There is no offense.

The Angel Fire Police Department received a report of a BURGLARY that occurred where property was stolen. The secured facility was broken into and items were stolen. There will be a criminal investigation and report.

Angel Fire Police provided assistance to the Angel Fire Fire Department with a report of a combative male patient. Officer responded with Angel Fire Fire Department to assist with reported combative male.  Upon arrival it was learned that a male subject had cut his wrists, but was not combative.  Officer cleared the immediate area of weapons to ensure the safety of the ambulance crew. Male patient was removed from the scene without incident.

The Angel Fire Police Department received a report of a loose running dog near a restaurant. The dog has been reported on a couple of occasions so today, a report will be written.

Angel Fire Police responded to a report of a traffic accident. Officer responded to the parking lot of Lowes Valley Market to a report of a traffic accident.  The accident was on private property and no report will be made.  Office provided an accident form to both parties.

Angel Fire Police placed a wanted subject under arrest. Officer arrested known subject wanted for a warrant out of Colfax County Magistrate Court.  Subject transported to the County Jail in Raton.

Angel Fire Police responded to a 911 hang up. Officer made contact with the occupants and all appeared in order.  Officer observed no signs of an emergency in the house.

Angel Fire Police Department received a report of an alarm trigged at a local business address. The alarm was triggered in the “squad room” but the location of the actual alarm was never found.

Angel Fire Police Department received a report of an alarm trigged at a local business address. The alarm was triggered at THE VILLAGE HAUS. The building was checked and appeared secure. The cause of the alarm is not known.

Angel Fire Police Department received a request for assistance regarding the foreclosure of a residential property. The lien holder met with the current resident to discuss a date for the resident to vacate the premises.

Angel Fire Police responded to a report of a runaway. Officer met with the parents of the runaway and determined they had no contact with their juvenile son in the last 24 hours.  A report will be taken and attempts to locate the juvenile continue.

Angel Fire Police was called to assist an owner gain access to their condominium. Officer stood by while the owner and property management company worked to get the owner into the condominium. Owner got into the condominium without incident.

Angel Fire Police responded at report of a hit and run at the Pizza Stop. Officer met with the RP and determined that between 1830 and 1915 his vehicle was struck by person / person(s) unknown. Report taken.

07/16/2017 11:45:00    17-000360           Disturbance

Angel Fire Police Department received a report of a domestic disturbance between siblings. Upon arrival, parties had already separated. The older sibling claims she was threatened with a hammer. The younger sibling claims the older was aggressive toward him and he picked up the hammer is self-defense. This was determined to be a parental issue. No report will be filed and parties promised to stay separated.

Angel Fire Police Department received a report of THEFT in which two bicycles were stolen from the resident’s front yard. Upon arrival, it was determined that the bicycles were not stolen but being used by younger siblings.  There is no offense.

Angel Fire Police responded to a report of individuals throwing trash into recycle bins. Officer proceeded to the location and learned the location doesn’t have recycle bins.  Officer then drove to the Village recycle center and to the recycle bins at businesses in the immediate area.  No illegal dumping was found.

Angel Fire Police responded to report of a suspicious vehicle in the Lowe’s Valley Market parking lot. Officer made contact with the suspicious vehicle.  Individuals were just sitting talking. Officer remained in the area until employees departed.
