Angel Fire Police responded to a report of a suspected drunk driver. Officer located the vehicle out of his jurisdiction and did not have probable cause for an exigent traffic stop. Information on the vehicle was passed onto the adjoining jurisdiction.

Angel Fire Police responded to a residential alarm. Officer conducted a search of the house and area.  There was no evidence of a break in and all doors were secure.

Angel Fire Police responded to a report of harassment and possible intimidation of a victim. Both parties were spoken to and advised if similar behavior continues possible charges could be filed. Parties were also advised to stay away from each other.

Angel Fire Police received a report of identity theft. Male individual reported that a relative in Albuquerque obtained his personal identification and opened several accounts using this information that are now in default.

Angel Fire Police received a report of larceny. Occupant of condominium reported that his neighbor had taken his clothes out of the dryer in the laundry room and taken them into his residence. When he retrieved his laundry a twin bed sheet was missing.

Angel Fire Police responded to a report of a camp fire. Angel Fire Police received a report of a camp fire at the member’s campground adjacent the stables on Mountain View Boulevard. The fire was a propane fueled and legal. Resort Security was also on scene.

Angel Fire Police responded to an audible alarm at a local business. Officer heard an audible alarm and located the source at a local business. Officer found a side door open and cleared the business and secured the door. The owner was called and the owner advised he would have an employee thoroughly check the business in the morning.

Angel Fire Police Department responded to a speak to officer in reference to trespassing and possible theft. The officer contacted the reporting party (RP) via landline from the Angel Fire Police Department (AFPD). The RP advised he had photos of a subject known to be trespassed from a property adjacent to his. The RP additionally advised the subject was armed. The officer responded to the RP’s residence and was given a SIM card with photographic evidence. A review of the card will be conducted for possible criminal charges against the subject. A report will be generated.

The Angel Fire Police Department responded to a disturbance of loud music possibly from a “boom box”. The officer arrived in the area and was unable to locate any loud music from the 20 block to the 50 blk of the area.

The Angel Fire Police Department received a report of a residential alarm. The alarm was intentionally triggered by a technician and the monitoring company FAILED to advise law enforcement of the work being done. False alarm.

The Angel Fire Police Department responded to an activated residential burglary alarm showing back door. Upon arrival the officer made contact with the occupants who were friends of the owner and staying for the weekend. The occupants failed to enter the pass code in a timely manner triggering the alarm. No report.

The Angel Fire Police Department responded to an agency assist from the NMSP to utilize the IR 8000 on a DWI suspect. NMSP Officer K. Keiner conducted a breath test on the suspect without incident.

Angel Fire Police received a call in regards to a larceny. The reporting party states that a spare tire, and tire cover were stolen off their 5th wheel trailer. The loss was discovered after returning to their home in Colorado and they believe the theft occurred in Angel Fire.

The Angel Fire Police Department responded to suspicious activity in which a homeowner possibly observed someone attempting to block an exterior camera. The officer responded along with an alarm company representative. The officer conducted an interior and exterior check of the residence and all was in order. No alarm was activated and it appeared to be unfounded.

The Angel Fire Police Department responded to a civil matter involving a rented room at the business. The RP rented a room and was possibly going to have to depart the area prior to a full night’s stay. The RP was given 2 keys and turned one in prior to leaving in the event they would remain in the local area. The RP inquired about a refund but was advised it would be in the form of a future stay. Upon return the RP found the room had been occupied and the security chain was on the door. No personnel were manning the front desk as well as not answering the phone when attempted to be contacted by the RP. The RP was advised of civil remedies as well as contacting her credit card company to possibly dispute the charges. No report.

The Angel Fire Police Department responded to a disturbance in which a male subject was yelling at an employee at a local business. The subject, described as a white male, in his 30’s, wearing a white tank top and blue jeans. The subject was last seen departing the area south bound. Officer’s attempted to locate the subject at businesses in the area as well as the area of Valle Grande Trail South, Mountain View Blvd and N. Angel Fire Road but met with negative results.

The Angel Fire Police Department responded to a request to speak to officer in reference to an active trespassing case. The officer advised the RP that a warrant would be requested for Criminal Trespass on the subject in the photo and videos taken into evidence.
