Angel Fire Police Department responded to a possible attempted Breaking and Entering at the rear entrance of the business. The officer arrived and made contact with the RP. No tool marks or pry marks were evident and the paint around the lock mechanism was intact. The throw and plate were loose and a screw was located on the ground outside the door which appeared to be normal wear and tear. The striker plate had scraping from metal on metal contact from normal use. No evidence of attempted entry was located.

Angel Fire Police Department responded to a speak to officer in reference to a stray dog. The officer contacted the RP who advised they had a lab type dog on their porch and inquired about options. The RP advised the dog was not aggressive but timid. The RP was advised the Village did not have animal control facilities. The RP had access to social media and was advised to post a picture or description of the dog and area on a community Facebook page.

The Angel Fire Police Department responded to a reported physical domestic dispute involving a male and a female. As the officer responding he was re-routed to a second location where the female had proceeded to. The female alleged she became involved in a verbal argument with her husband over her mother in-law.
The female stated she attempted to leave with their child and retrieved the vehicle keys at which time her husband attempted to keep her from leaving and choked her.
The female had a red mark on the left side of her neck which she stated was from her husband grabbing her. The mark was consistent with a seat abrasion from a rollover accident she was in previously. The mark was not consistent with recent trauma
The female left with the child in the family vehicle which was brought to the location by her mother-in-law and was going to NC. The female advised she did not wish to pursue charges. A report will be generated and forwarded to the District Attorney’s office for screening and possible prosecution.

Angel Fire Police Department responded to a speak to officer in reference to juveniles approaching adults to purchase alcohol for them. The RP advised she was approached by a juvenile who asked if she could purchase them alcohol. The RP advised she told the subject she worked in public safety at which time the juveniles entered a vehicle and departed the area. The RP followed the subjects, who were in a white in color later model Chevrolet Z71 PK, displaying TX possibly CWH and a confirmed last 4 of 9432. The RP advised she lost the vehicle in the 20 Blk of Jackson Hole Road. The officer attempted to locate the vehicle in the surrounding area but me with negative results. No Report.
