At the request of New Mexico Game and Fish, Angel Fire Police responded to an address on Rio Grande Terrace in regards to an injured deer. Injured deer was not located, howeve,r evidence of possible illegal activity was found. Game and Fish officer collected evidence and is handling the case.

Angel Fire Police Department was called in reference a larceny that occurred at a residence on Jackson Hole Rd. A report was taken.

Angel Fire Police Department responded to an address on Via Del Rey at the request New Mexico Game and Fish to check on an injured deer. Deer was located and found to have a crossbow bolt stuck completely through its upper neck. Deer was eating and appeared otherwise healthy. Information relayed to Game and Fish.

Angel Fire Police assisted New Mexico State Police in trying to locate a wanted subject who fled on foot from a traffic stop. Subject was not located but is known to law enforcement.  New Mexico State Police is handling the follow up.

Angel Fire Police Department received a request for a house watch of a local residence. The house watch begins today and runs through Dec. 7, 2015.  The owner advises that friends might be at the house who are identified.

Angel Fire Police Department received a request for a house watch. Subject contacted AFPD in reference to the residence being checked on. Subject will return Dec. 11, 2015. No one should be in the residence.

Angel Fire Police Department was detailed to Elliot Barker Ln in reference a domestic situation that occurred at another residence on Agua Rd. A juvenile was brought back to AFPD for protective custody.

Angel Fire Police Department was detailed to a business in the 3300 block of Mountain View Blvd in reference to found paraphernalia. Upon arrival, contact was made with the manager, who found a marijuana pipe. He wished the police to take it and destroy it per his boss’s request. Pipe will be destroyed.

Angel Fire Police Department was detailed to a residence in the 3300 block of Mountain View Blvd to conduct a wellbeing check of 3 children per request of CYFD. Upon arrival, contact was made with the grandfather and he stated the children were with their mother and not left out in the cold as reported. All checked ok. Nothing further.

Angel Fire Police Department was dispatched to Colfax County to assist Angel Fire EMS. Upon arrival, it was confirmed that a ROBBERY had occurred and the case was transferred to The New Mexico State Police.
