Balloons fly Friday, Saturday and Sunday doused

Perfect weather allowed pilots in the annual Balloons Over Angel Fire to launch Friday morning (June 15) but rain doused Saturday morning’s mass ascension and evening balloon glow. Jimmy Linton of the Angel Fire Visitor Center said no one begrudged the much-needed moisture. Sunday morning balloons inflated but wind again prevented their launch. (Photos by Ellen Miller-Goins)
