Wagon Mound edges out Cimarron for basketball tournament title

WAGON MOUND — A third-quarter run by Wagon Mound proved to be decisive as the host Trojans went on to win the Wagon Mound Invitational basketball tournament, downing the Rams of Cimarron High School 68-57 Saturday (Jan. 4).

Cimarron Rams baseball season is gearing up

CIMARRON — Driven by dedicated and enthusiastic coach, Mike Miller, Cimarron High School is primed to have a full roster for a baseball team for the first time since 2013. Driven by Miller and assistant coach Bo Carrillo, the team already has held a few practices and is primed to start the first game of the season on March 28. The 14-game schedule will be posted on Max Preps, according to Miller.
