Moreno Valley residents and visitors who missed last night’s performance of “Breath of Heaven” will be able to see it this Sunday (Dec. 20) during the normal 11 a.m. service at United Church of Angel Fire, 40 W Ridge Road.

“Breath Of Heaven” is a musical presentation and multi-media presentation presented by the Moreno Valley Community Choir and sponsored by the United Church of Angel Fire.

The  first performance and potluck was presented Wednesday (Dec. 16) at the Wheeler Peak Cowboy Fellowship in Angel Fire.

Arranged and orchestrated by Russell Mauldin, “Breath of Heaven” is a musical/multi-media presentation celebrating the birth of Jesus Christ. The songs and narration give a fresh perspective of Christmas by taking a closer look at the compassionate heart of Mary. Based upon the reflective hit Christmas song by Amy Grant, the arrangements and lyrics display Mary’s posture of servanthood and what that means for us this season.

The Moreno Valley Community Choir has members from several churches in the valley as well as folks who just love to sing.

“We usually just have seasonal events,” said organizer Roz Garland, adding the group has plans to perform for Easter. “We just wanted the choir to be a way that our community could pull together. This is also an opportunity that different churches can get involved with music.”
