Electric co-op replacing lines in Red River

Monday (Oct. 16) Holly Snowden Fagan, assistant clerk for the Town of Red River announced Kit Carson Electric Cooperative has hired Romero’s Excavation to begin work excavating on the west end of town from River Ranch almost to Caribel Trail later this week “to place conduit in order to replace underground electrical lines,” Snowden Fagan wrote. “There will be road cut involved making it a one lane traffic area with a flag person from 6:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Entrances will be cut but will be covered at end of each work day and will be repaved during the latter part of the project [which will] take approximately 20 days.”
