Inge Vogel, a muchloved wife, mother, grandmother and resident of Angel Fire from 1999-2004, passed away at home Sunday, May 22, in Arvada, Colo.
She was born February 10, 1935 and raised in Bamberg, Germany. After marrying Herbert F. Vogel in December 1956, the couple moved to Terre Haute, Ind. in 1957, to Lemont, Ill. in 1961, and then settled in New Mexico in 1967. Inge is best known for her 20 years working with many clients preparing tax returns from the H&R Block tax office in the Community Center in Los Alamos.
She is also lovingly remembered by her grandchildren for her ‘Oma stories,’ which always stretched their imaginations. She is survived by daughter Denise Guinn of Nyack, N.Y., son Herb Vogel and wife Karen of Houston, Texas, son Peter Vogel and wife Kim of Santa Clara, Calif., five treasured grandchildren, Charles and Scott Guinn, Steven and Austin Vogel, Heidi Vogel, and brothers Ernst Schuegraf of Antigonish, Nova Scotia, Canada and Rudi Schuegraf of Gross Umstadt, Germany.
