The Shuter Library Benefit Mardi Gras Ball was a Hollywood success this week, both as a party and as a fundraiser. The Jimmy Stadler band packed the dance floor. The crowd elected Linda and Bill Hughes as King and Queen of Mardi Gras.

The winner of the raffle took home (to Texas!) $2663.

Our best male costume was scooped up by Jack Alton (Clint Eastwood) while Linda Ford (Wonder Woman) scored best female costume. The crewe handed out another Oscar for best couple to Lisa Sutton (Marilyn Monroe) and Jennifer Hoffman (Audrey Hepburn) while Debby and Steve Prinz won most creative as Arthur and Guinevere.

The Library thanks everyone who came out to support our annual operations with this ball – everyone there enjoyed themselves dancing on their own starred Walk of Fame. Thanks to all those whose dollars helped us meet our goals and keep the doors open.
