Angel Fire homeowner Linda Kaye (Meyen) Vespasian, of Tulsa, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully on April 27, 2018. She is survived by her husband, Lou Vespasian; her two children, Grant Brown (wife, Michelle) and Erica Stephens (husband, Doug); step-children, Elizabeth Miller (husband, Ronnie) and Grant Vespasian (wife, Sarah); and her adored grandchildren, Ronnie II, Jack, Elizabeth, Trenton, Isabel, Zachary, Hampton, Harper, Zander, Kason, Bowie, Townes, and Lennon; and her sister, Gloria Reeves (husband, Jim). She was preceded in death by her parents, Ralph Meyen and Helen Nelson; and her step-daughter, Laura (Vespasian) Jensen.
Linda was born on Aug. 4, 1948, in Lincoln, Nebraska. She spent most of her youth in Tulsa and graduated from Monte Cassino High School in 1966. She graduated from the University of Tulsa in 1970 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Commercial and Graphic Arts. Linda was a realtor with McGraw Realtors, a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution, and played a very active role as “Nana” to her 13 grandchildren. She was a talented artist and her passions included gardening, genealogy, celebrating holidays to their fullest, and spending time at their vacation home in Angel Fire.
Service will be held at St. Dunstan’s Episcopal Church in Tulsa, OK on Saturday, May 5, 2018, at 3:30 p.m.. In lieu of flowers, please consider donations to the Humane Society of Tulsa or St. Dunstan’s Episcopal Church in her memory.
