William H. Hancock A graveside committal service will be held for William H. Hancock on Saturday, September 6 at 11 a.m. at The Mount Calvary Cemetery in Raton. Bill Hancock, son of Catherine Hancock and William Jay Hancock, was born in Salt Lake City, Utah on December 8,1923, and grew up in Raton. Bill passed away in Belen, where he had lived for 30 years, on January 10 of this year. He will be laid to rest next to his wife, Ann F. Hancock, who passed away in 2011, and his daughter, Ann Frances Hancock-Hunt, who passed away in 1990. Bill is survived by his brother Charles, sister-in-law Catherine, nine nieces, a nephew, numerous grand-nieces and grand-nephews, a son-in-law Tim Hancock-Hunt, and by his daughter, Mary Ellen Hancock.
