Wheeler Peak Progressives Host with Colfax County Democratic Party

ANGEL FIRE — Wheeler Peak Progressives (WPP) and the Colfax County Democratic Party have teamed up to host an opportunity to meet and discuss important issues with Sen. Martin Heinrich on Saturday (Aug. 12) at Moreno Valley High School, 56 Camino Grande, in Angel Fire.

 “All Moreno Valley citizens are welcome to attend,” said June Ryan Rau, WPP planning committee chair. “We hope to foster mutual respect, encourage diverse opinions and facilitate dialogue with Senator Heinrich.”

“Colfax County Democrats are excited to welcome Senator Heinrich to our community,” said Franchesca Zoppe, chair of the Colfax County Democratic Party. “This is a great opportunity to hear about the work Senator Heinrich does for our communities every day in the Senate. Senator Heinrich is a champion for the families of Colfax County,. He fights to raise wages, protect health care and give our veterans the benefits they deserve. Senator Heinrich works hard for New Mexico and wants to keep fighting for you.”

Doors will open at 1 p.m. Guests are asked to be seated by 1:30 p.m. No signs will be permitted in the meeting. Everyone is welcome to join.
