The Red River Valley Foundation is still accepting proposals for a wide range of activities, including social services, education, health and well-being, recreation, environmental, civic/community, and the arts/culture/humanities. The grants are for projects only, not fund general operating costs.
The foundation funds grass-roots organizations (unincorporated but with a Board of Directors), incorporated non-profit organizations. 501(c)(3) organizations, certain other 501(c) tax-exempt organizations such as service clubs, public schools, private schools, and government agencies. Churches may apply but only for non-religious projects.
The deadline is June 15 for submission of proposals. For more information, criteria, guidelines and to download or make an online application, go to redrivervalleyfoundation.org. Don’t miss out on this opportunity to get funding for that worthwhile project your organization has been wanting to do.
