Ride high at Angel Fire Resort this weekend

Mountain biking is one of those sports that calls to mind Red Bull-fueled riders flying high off jumps and skidding skidding around curves at full speed. Angel Fire Resort’s Bike Park offers that, as the video below perfectly illustrates, but this full-service park offers something for every ability. Whether novice or pro, you’ll want to head to the park this weekend for the annual Demo Daze event.

This is two day event Saturday and Sunday (May 27 and 28) offers anyone, newbie to expert, the opportunity to try out the top mountain biking and cross-country riding gear for free. It’s great for anyone who has thought about getting into mountain biking but doesn’t know what type of bike to buy, or for the expert who is looking for new gear but doesn’t know which route to go.

Lift Tickets are not included with attendance to this event and will need to be purchased if you’d like to test out a bike in the Bike Park.

Deno Daze includes:

  • Daily Bike Demos by Yeti, Specialized, YT, Scott Bikes, Jamis, Guerrilla Gravity and SR Suntour
  • Larger than life personality and pioneer of the freeride movement, Brett Tippie, will be signing autographs sponsored by SR Suntour
  • Enlightment’s XC/Enduro-style Trails
  • Beer Garden
  • Free movie

As an added bonus, everything is open at Angel Fire (golf course, tennis, 2nd highest Zipline in the country, chair lift, RV Resort, Fly Fishing Camp, etc.)

Awarded #1 Bike Park in the Southwest by MTBParks.com for the fourth year in a row, Angel Fire maintains over 100 miles of downhill and cross-country greenbelt trails for all ability levels that also ties into the National Forest trail network including the highly praised South Boundary Trail.
