A road resurfacing project will take place July 24 through Aug. 6 (weather permitting) at the Upper and Lower loops at Lagunitas Campground on the Tres Piedras Ranger District of the Carson National Forest.
The roads at the campground will be reconstructed and a new road surface will be placed. These efforts will impact the traffic flow at the campground and short delays should be expected.
The construction will take place Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. There will be no work on the weekends. Users of Forest Road 87 should use caution while driving and reduce speed as there will be heavy truck traffic during the project time frame.
